Team Ride it Out have been racing on the muddy slopes of La Bresse for the final round of the world cup.
Will and Ems were on form this weekend.Loving the track and sloppy conditions.
The boys were on it in practice. Ems and Will even featuring in a few big media videos. Looking composed and fast in Cathrovision.
Will Hart missed out on qualifying by 0.163 which is literally nothing! We are very impressed to see such progress in the young mans first elite world cup season.
Emyr’s qualifying run looked promising with a 19th speed trap and 43rd last split. But a slip on the last section lost him some crucial mili-seconds just knocking him out of qualifying.
Its a shame that the boys did not make it through to finals. But there are plenty of positives to take on board. And we will charge on to the last UK national in a couple of weeks time.
Few words from the boys –
“Cool to ride a and suss out a new track! The track was pretty tight and techy in areas which I felt suited me pretty well. I was confident going into qualies and managed to lay down a clean run! I just missed the cut for qualifying by just 0.16 seconds, so close!! I rode within my ability and it paid off! Just need to find those extra tenth of seconds now haha” – Will
“We had such a rad weekend. A sick track and some good lines to think about. Bike and myself were dialed all through practice.
Qualifying run and I was cracking on.
Splits were good at 55th then 43rd and 19th at the speed trap. But I dropped to 81st over the finish line… Bit of a weird one as i cant put mt finger on what caused it. Maybe my own ego had me? Thinking we had a good run and that we’d be well into the final. So to just cruise the final section. To be honest its all a blur!
But lesson learnt don’t let off till you cross the finish line next time!” – Ems
