We are more than happy to announce that for 2016 the Rideitout Race Team will be rocking Orange Mountain Bikes
Yep, for 2016 the Rideitout Team will be rolling into the start box on board some sweet Orange 324’s. And let’s face it what can be better than racing onboard a bike brand that has so much history in this sport, not to mention a stalwart of British Manufacturing. Orange bikes are legitimate legends of the Downhill and we can’t wait to get in the saddle and start smashing in some runs. Roll on the race season.
Rob Lewis – Ride.io Team Manager
“Orange as a brand has always been deeply ingrained in my mountain biking life. Ever since my design tech teacher at school banged on about his Orange P7 to seeing numerous Downhill icons build their careers and accomplish incredible achievements on board the UK brand, I’ve always looked up to. Now heading up a team of riders on the UK scene and pushing top 30 World Cup positions, being able to run Orange bikes is for me, a position I wouldn’t have even dreamed of being in as my younger self. Their branding and dedication to stick to UK manufacturing and single pivot designs is something I admire. The opportunity to work alongside Orange Mountain Bikes is certainly a high point of my carer and one which I am massively looking forward to in 2016.”
Ashley Ball – Orange Mountain Bikes
“I’m really excited about the new collaboration with Rideitout, we’re proud to be associated with a successful Downhill team competing on the World Cup circuit and supporting grass roots racing. After looking at what other brands had to offer and much deliberation we’re proud that Rideitout have chosen to ride Orange.”
Emyr Davies – Ride.io Team Rider
“I’m so stoked to be riding for Orange in 2016. The first DH bike I ever had was a 222 when I was 14 years old, I remember sending that machine off some monster hucks and doing massive skids! 10 years on and I’ll be doing the same just on the World Cup circuit, going way faster obviously!
This year will be a privilege to be racing for Orange, a British brand that has so much history ingrained in our sport. I’m looking forward to contributing to the legacy and getting the 324 on some more podiums.
Now get me to the track!”
