I did the same thing to my face, headbutting a dirt jump really hurts.

I dunno how long its gonna take, its been 3 months now and I still have an eye that looks like its been bar fighting. 
Has anyone had themselves or have a mate who has done similar to their face (i.e required surgery to reconstruct the flesh) cause am wondering how much better its likely to get.

about 15 years ago my dad scalped him self on a when we lived in venezuala and had 47 stiches and 23 hours of sergery and 5 months in hospital

and now hes fine but it did take more than 2 years for it to go full back to normal
