Harris & Ross at the 2015 BDS.
« on: Nov 28, 2014, 14:26 »
Harris & Ross at British Cycling’s National Downhill Mountain Bike Series – The BDS in 2015.

Harris & Ross will be at selected rounds of next year’s BDS on hand from their care stand with a number of experienced and registered physiotherapists. The free of charge service to BDS racers will be to diagnose and assess your symptoms and where possible, treating you trackside to prepare you for race day action.

About Harris & Ross:
"Harris & Ross is the largest physiotherapy company in the UK - we pride ourselves on rising to the challenge of working with any action sports athletes and the incredible challenges they give us. We have a 10,000sq meter (40,000sq ft) rehab centre with 5 pools, 200m indoor running track, direct relationship with a hospital with brand new theatres, MRI scanners and ward rooms - we have surgeon specialists in each part of the body who are all vastly experienced with world class professional athletes. However our biggest asset is we understand the athletes, their sports, as people, as characters and as innovators - we are unashamed fans of what they do and how they do it. We are all immersed in action sports and on a personal level and the love of these sports has over time left us with 4 titanium plates and 35 screws, a number of shoulder and knee reconstructions and a large number of broken bones in various parts of our team.
We strive to create an environment of ‘empowerment’ for the athlete, the athlete takes control of something they feel was out of their control - their recovery and return to sport. The athlete is always at the centre of everything we do and we have total empathy with them. Over the course of the last year we have supported Atherton Racing at the World Cup and World Championship level and we are also working closely with Josh Bryceland and the Santa Cruz Syndicate team to return Josh to the bike as soon as possible."
