race license

So its been a good few years since ive done a race n thonking of entering the black run at end of august. Back in thr day i could book it, turn up and race. Is it still the same or do i need to purchase a license these days (new owners of the hill and a lot of time has passe)
Wondering as the entry link takes me to brittish cyclings website.

So can i race with out a license still?

As far as I know the only race where you need a license is BDS, so dont waste your money and have fun at the race.
