BOS Servicing in Morzine
« on: Mar 05, 2012, 23:09 »
Anyone know if there is someone who can service and look after BOS suspension in Morzine?

I'm considering a Morewood bike for my summer in France, but want to make sure that I won't end up off the bike for ages if the suspension needs seeing to.

Nigel in the shop at the bottom of the Pleney lift can service them. (He was Nathan Rennie's mech when he rode for Morewood/BOS).

When I broke mine I had to wait for new cart + spring + shims from BOS. The standard Idylle's withstood the abuse of France far better than the Rare's in my opinion.

As above - but beware he's Stevie Smith's spanner jockey this year - so won;t be there all season.

Lots of shops around there sell BOS and BOS kitted bikes, you won;t have an issue. Besides - BOS doesn't break. (Unless you;re an idiot like me and don;t stop turning 'till knobs fall off)
