« on: May 31, 2011, 09:38 »
Just called up Dartmoor Cycles to ask about the uplift for this weekend and was told it doesn't run anymore due to insurance problems. Did i miss something as i hadn't heard anything about this, could'nt see anything on website etc? Or have i got it wrong?

Any help be great

No unfortunately you have not got it wrong, the uplift does not run anymore.
We are at pressent looking into sorting out a bigger and better uplift service for future use.
Once all the details have been finalized and the vehicles and trailers sorted we will reopen the uplift service.

So watch this space and the club website http://www.woodlandriders.com

Cheers, Chaz.

Just to keep you up to date, we are hoping to open a much improved uplift service in April with a 16 seat minibus & Burtech trailer, using paved roads. We are sorry for the delay, but we have to arrange funding and get permissions for access and make significant improvements to the road surface and infrastructure...so please bear with us...it will be worth it :)

Happy days. As triscombe and FOD regulars, we would love to have a decent reliable uplift at Gawton!
