Out of interest, which pump and BGM do you use?

Can you secure the pump somehow? use a wrap so its tight against your body can't be torn off, protect with modified (if needed) body Armour?

El Capitano from the old forum would be worth speaking to, he seems to cope nicely.

If anyone on here with diabetes would like to share their experiences of riding with diabetes I would be very interested. How you cope, issues you find with equipment, recommendations for making life easier for people participating in sport and diabetes etc.

I work in R&D for one of the biggest players in BGM devices.

Any information that I can get into the system for BGM devices and mountain biking/sport would be great.

Please PM me if you want.

i use the new contour usb bgm and my pump is the medtronic mini med

whenever i ride i can never get the balance of excercise and food right and normally end up with a sky high bm whether i eat before or during a days fun on the hills, sometimes i won';t eat and still my bm just goes up and i've no idea why but this is something i'm trying to work through with my nurse specialist
