Guy Gibbs headed out to the Sun Peaks Resort in Canada for the first round of the Canadian Champs. Whilst there he hit up the beautifully crafted Gnarcroft.
“After a stressful and relatively successful first weekend of racing on the new Morewood Makulu 27.5 at the Canadian Championships at Sun Peaks resort, we decided to look around for a big bike jump trail we had heard rumors about.
We had to sweet-talk a couple of friendly locals, but finally deduced that the track they call Gnarcroft was only a 5-10 minute drive away. After a little nosing around we found it and were rewarded huge jumps in pristine condition that had made the cut on the movie ‘Strength in Numbers’ ridden by Graham Agassiv.
So I ended up guinea pigging the line and managed to link up all the jumps into one top to bottom run. It was amazing fun and this video doesn’t do the workmanship gone into this track justice. There was just so much flow and airtime with multiple lines at the top and bottom. A big thank you to the builders and I hope I get the chance to ride it again soon”
