The Venue: One Giant Leap Llangollen. Tan Y Graig Farm, Llangollen, Denbighshire, North Wales. LL20 8AR.

PLEASE NOTE HOW WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BOTH ENTER AND EXIT THE LLANGOLLEN VENUE:
The lanes around the venue are small country lanes which can be tight pleased drive with due care and attention and always respect the local community. This will be signposted from Friday morning.

We are kindly asking you to drive in from the Golf Course entrance and not the Llangollen town entrance. This will keep the locals happy and allow all event traffic such as marshals, medics, Commissaires and the riders on the uplift easy access to the track.

The Course: The Ride Portugal track steep and technical with a number of large man made jumps. The finish arena which is large in size and will be surrounded by crowd barriers. Riders are advised to wear suitable protection that they think suitable, walk the course prior to riding and ride within their own ability level.

Length – 1.9 kilometers.
Start altitude – 371 meters.
Finish altitude – 116 meters.
Vertical descent – 255 meters.
Fastest time 2 minutes and 5 seconds.
Course rating (1-5 with 5 being very technical): Rating 4.

Spectating: £5.00 per day for each adult aged 16 or over.

Parking: Is FREE to everyone.

Camping: Racers camping charge is free. Spectators camping charge is £10.00 per pitch. You can enter the site from 13:00 on the Friday, before the event and you must then leave the site by 19:00 on the Sunday evening of the event. Please note the venue will close at 23:00 for vehicle access on the Friday and Saturday night.

Security: Will be on site both Friday and Saturday night of the event. You are advised to lock away all of your possessions. Abus is the official Bicycle Lock partner of the National Series.

Course Marshals: 17x marshals will be in place on course both Saturday and Sunday. Each marshal will be easily identifiable by wearing a high visibility vest. Marshals will also be supplied with a working two-way radio, a whistle, a red and yellow flag and refreshments. We aim to ensure all our marshals are aged 21 or over and fit and able.

16:00 Commissaire course walk. We reserve the right to change the course at any time through the event.

18:00 Course open for on foot inspection only. No transport to the top is provided or permitted.

15:00 – 21:00 Race registration, please bring your valid National Federations race licence and membership.

Saturday.
07:00 Course open for on foot inspection only. No transport to the top is provided or permitted.
07:00 – 11:00 Race registration, please bring your valid National Federations race licence and membership.
09.00 Uplift opens and all riders must have their transponders fitted to use the uplift.
09:30 Open practice for all Juvenile Men, Youth Men, Junior Men, Senior Men, Master Men, Veteran Men, Grand Veteran Men, Junior Women and Women.

10:30 Open practice for all.

17:00 Course closed for all Juvenile Men, Youth Men, Junior Men, Senior Men, Master Men, Veteran Men, Grand Veteran Men, Junior Women and Women.

17:00 Course open for Expert Men and Elite Men and Elite Women Only.
