I don’t have an issue with working on my bike but it’s more due to necessity than enjoyment. I’m not known for my love of spontaneously tinkering with my bike. So far I’ve mostly used one of those popular blue stands that a lot of people use, largely without any issues but the boys and girls at 2Pure have been kind enough to lend me this workstand from Feedback Sports and it looks like a belter. Lets take a quick look before it gets some more use….
Feedback Sprint Workstand –
Before now I’ve only used one of those stands that holds the bike by the seat-post or top-tube, this is the first one I’ve used that holds the bike by the wheels. All looking good so far, it seems very stable during use, one of the most important things with a work-stand.
- Single point quick-release mount
- 360 degree bike rotation
- Compatable with QR/15mm forks and QR/12mm rear dropouts (other adaptors available)
- Quickly folds into very compact unit
- Adjustable height
- Stable tripod design
Lots of adjustability for height, length, angle, rotation. With different adaptors, lots of wheel sizes are accommodated for.
Feedback RAKK Bicycle Storage Stand –
A simple little bike stand that folds flat for easy and minimal storage. What more do you need? It even locks together with other units to equally space bikes should you want them in a shop for example.
- Holds tyres 20mm road tyres to 2.4″ MTB tyres
- Base footprint 343x343mm
- Folded Height 81mm
- Weight 2.7kg
- 3 Year warranty
This is spring loaded to keep it shut closed but a small catch holds it open for use, the spring also helps it accommodate different wheel sizes.
Two great looking and initially impressive bits of kit. Watch this space to see how they perform over the next few weeks.
