Cube Bikes 2018 Launch #1

Cube Bikes 2018 Launch – Intro

I was recently invited to head out to Germany, the headquarters of Cube for their 2018 bike launch. I certainly wasn’t going to turn that down. I packed my camera and a few bits of riding gear and booked my plane tickets.

I had Cube’s Stereo 160 on test last year and really liked it, I was looking forward to seeing what their 2018 range had to offer.

It’s nice arriving at the airport and not having to worry about the next part of the journey.

Cube is still located in the small town, near the Czech border, where it originally started out back in 1993. It employs around 600 people from the small town of Waldershof, which makes it a huge business for this little town. Just walking around the town during the evening you come across everyday town folk dressed head to toe in Cube attire. It’s a fair guess to say they’re Cube employees.

After an early morning, two flights and a two hour minibus journey, cold beer was waiting for us on arrival at Cube’s new headquarters. A very welcome sight indeed.

Their brand new showroom has a special little section dedicated to the companies history and there are some proper retro bits in there.

The new Cube Stereo 140, one of the highlights of the new 2018 range, with some big changes over the previous model. More on this one later.

Nom Nom Nom Nom….

Cube have a huge range of bikes, covering nearly every possible need or whim. Their new showroom is a properly dedicated space for showing them all off and it works really well.

We’ve lots more to show so watch this space……
