ladies body armour

im trying to find out if any companies do any body armour for the top half for me girlfriend can't find any so far i.e. 661

Nope, they just strap 'em down and use normal armour. Apparently the hard chest plated ones can hurt...ie go for the gladiator jacket.

yep as stuartanicholson said get the gladiator jacket (or any with soft fronts).....  If your missus is small, check out the kids range (dainese def do one), much cheaper too! My girlfriend has a kids large gladiator jacket and its just a mini version of the big ones.

Dainese gladiator, or if she's not too 'big' then a safety jacket isn't a problem (that's what I run).
Apparently Dainese do make women's specifc snowboarding armoured jackets but I've never seen any in Snow & Rock or Snowboard Asylum etc.
And TBH we all manage fine in men's armour really.

yer most of the women in downhill are men anyway so i spose from a cost effective point of view for companies like Dainese theres no point producing womens specific body armour.......

If a safety jacket or Gladiator jacket dont fit someting lik the 661 straight jacket might be better as its just a chest and back plate with elastic strap- then whichever arm guards you preffer.
That' mean you could get a size bigger for the chest and back without the arms being too big aswell....
