Mini DH back at FOD Dec '09

Cheers, will aim to get there Sunday then for some practice ahead of the races.  Enjoyed the mini DH in Feb, hope that course was similar to whats there now.

Decided not to do it after my appualing outcome from the last one on a hard tail and i don't have a full sus at the moment

Going down on Sunday to have blast down the tracks.

There are loads of tracks to ride down in the FoD, so ride them all you never know which one we will use....

You don't need a full Sus bike for the next track as we won't be using the chute this time.....

Would this be ok for a first DH race? on a hardtail? singlespeed?

Yes you could ride either, its about taking part and having fun, a hard tail is fine to race at the FoD, in fact quite a few people with a full sus take there hardtails to race on for a bit of extra fun.

Just out of curiosity does this mean the track won't be using the big table at the bottom?

yes we will be using the table top but it's going to get some work on it before the race

Be nice to ride a brand new track which has been made specifically for the race. At the where the previous FOD race started, you go futher along the fireroad to the left if looking down the hill, build some tracks there then could link it down at the switch backs then onto that table.

Its an ace track too  steep and techy in parts,does this one have a name Pete? as i stumbled upon it by accident,never seen it before until about 3 months ago.

A few people seem to think they are going to be in last place, its not about where you finish, its about having laugh blasting down a fun track.

I may enter semi broken then, wont have to risk falling off if i know i can go slow.
Any idea of you will be extending the race run so it starts above the fireroad?

The track will be longer and the only way to that is to start higher up........
