Placed and order with CRC last week....few days later card details used to purchase top up vouchers with O2.

seems a bit of a coincidence to me.

I have also had card fraud since using CRC last week. Nearly £12,000 was taken from my account and paid in to various credit card accounts, loans etc & used to buy a mobile phone. Fortunately it has all been refunded. I will contact CRC.

Well this is interesting.

I too bought something from CRC last week and had two £15 O2 transactions appear on the account... I guess I was lucky in that I check my online banking regularly.

The o2 top up seems to be pretty common at the moment ! Not only CRC, after my parents used their card in a local supermarket, they too had two counts of 'o2 pre pay' payments on their statements recently.

A friend of mine also had card fraud last week, coincidentally after buying from CRC too. Weird.

Ha, jokes on them, I have no money in my account anyway!

Oh wait...

On a serious note, I think I'll wait till I hear about this being cleared up before I order any stuff from them.

CRC website seems to be down at the moment. I guess they are trying to fix it.

Another reason why NOT to depend on online mail order bicycle shops imo.

Unless they have something which you can't find anywhere near to you (radius of 20miles or so).
Surely!?

Some of us don't have the cash to spend what our LBS's are charging.

Don't give me that old chestnut, most LBS's are happy to price match now and do the odd favour for gratis.
Plus you actually pay for advice and service which CRC have yet to master from my experience.

Next you'll be telling me how you couldn't give 2 s#ite about service and local bike shops.

I had the same 2 x £15 on O2.
Thanks for posting this up, saved me a lot of trouble potentially!
