Quote from: from the main article
Frames start from £1699.99 with a Roco World Cup shock

Full bikes start from £2049.99

Will be intresting to see what an extra £350 gets you spec wise!

Ooooh, that looks nice :) I am unconvinced by HammerSchmidt (and not just cos I cant spell it), but we'll see.
Ride fast, take chances. Just don't blame me when you fall off.

The frame looks like it's not making the most of the HammerSchmidt though, the main pivot could do with being dropped slightly to do away with pedal actuated shock movement.  Or does that linkage thingy sort that out?

i don't think anyone is going to argue with that, because Solid have designed the frame for a purpose, and its not pedalling up hills in granny gear. The hammerschmidt is just a bolt on option, that a very small percentage of the market is going to want.  As it becomes more main stream, I;m sure companies will design bikes around it

I suspect personally something like the blade (130-160mm travel) will be more suited to the Hammerschmidt..... not a short travel DH bike.

That looks beautiful. And should be more than capable to take on the dh's we have in the UK. Even with the totems on, cos they are brilliant forks!  ;)

The HammerSchmidt does make it look very tidy down there!  :P

Gobsmacked nobodys asked this... whats the hammerschmit like?
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses"
